Recommended Starter Setup
If you are new to Iconic Blocks and want to get set up quickly without overthinking it — this page is for you.
The following setup works for almost any Shopify store in any category. It uses five blocks that together address the four most common reasons shoppers leave product pages without buying: lack of trust, unclear shipping, no visible benefits, and no urgency.
It is not the most advanced setup. It is the most reliable starting point.
The 5-Block Starter Stack
Block 1 — Trust Badges Block Position: Directly below the Add to Cart button
Configure three badges: Free Shipping, Returns Policy, Secure Payment. These three cover the universal trust concerns every first-time shopper has regardless of what you are selling. Choose the layout style — list or strip — based on how much vertical space you want to use. The strip is more compact. The list gives each badge more visual weight.
This is the single highest-impact block for new stores. Add this first.
Block 2 — Benefits List Block Position: Between the price and Add to Cart button
Write 3 to 4 benefit items using your product's strongest selling points. Lead with the most important benefit. Use specific language — 30-day hassle-free returns not easy returns, free shipping on all orders not good shipping. This block answers the question every shopper asks at the price — "why is this worth it?"
Block 3 — Delivery Info Block Position: Below the Benefits List Block, above Add to Cart
Set realistic dates for your Ordered, Shipped, and Delivered stages. Keep the delivery window honest — a range of dates is better than a single date. This block removes the shipping uncertainty that causes a significant percentage of product page exits before Add to Cart is even reached.
Block 4 — Review Summary Block Position: Above the product title
Enter your real aggregate rating and review count. Even a modest number — 50 to 100 reviews at 4.2 stars — adds meaningful credibility for first-time visitors. This is the first thing shoppers see when they land on the page and it sets the credibility baseline for everything they evaluate after it.
Only add this block once you have at least 50 genuine reviews. If you are not there yet, skip it and come back when your review count is strong enough to be credible.
Block 5 — Inventory Badge Block Position: Above the product title, below the Review Summary Block if both are used
Configure the three states — in stock, low stock, critical stock — and set your thresholds based on your typical inventory levels. For most stores, showing In stock - ready to ship in green is all this block needs to do day-to-day. When stock genuinely drops, the urgency states activate automatically.
What Your Product Page Looks Like With This Setup
From top to bottom:
(Review Summary Block) — Excellent ★★★★½ 1,240 reviews
(Inventory Badge Block) — 🟢 In stock - ready to ship
Product Title
Price
Variant selectors
(Benefits List Block) — 3 to 4 key selling points
(Delivery Info Block) — Ordered → Shipped → Delivered with dates
Add to Cart button
(Trust Badges Block) — Free Shipping | 30 Days Return | Secure Payment
This layout covers all three conversion zones and answers the five most common shopper questions before they become exit points.
What to Add Next
Once the starter stack is live and you have observed how your product page is performing, add blocks in this order based on your next biggest gap:
If shoppers are not trusting the store → Add Payment Icons Block below the Trust Badges Block
If you are running a promotion → Add Countdown Timer Block above the product title and Discount Ticket Block below Add to Cart
If AOV is low → Add Addons Product Block below the Trust Badges Block and set up tiered discounts in the Discount Ticket Block
If shoppers need to see the product in action → Add Video Slider Block below the Addons Block or Trust Badges Block
If you sell variants → Add Circle Menu Block below the Video Slider Block
If your product has specific attributes → Replace or supplement Benefits List Block with Benefits Grid Block for a more visual presentation
The One Rule to Follow
Add one block at a time. Give each new block a week or two on the live page before adding the next one. This lets you see which blocks are making a difference and which ones are neutral. Adding five blocks at once tells you nothing about what is working. Adding them one at a time tells you everything.
